Women Laughing on Beach

Our PurposeWomen's Help and Care Organization has been established in 2020 to provide comprehensive financial, emotional and moral support to women in need, and to provide assistance in order for them to achieve self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

Our Vision: We believe in "meeting Women where they are" in their lives and struggle, helping them to deal with the problems at hand.

Aliona Artic

Executive Director/Founder

Aliona is a passionate advocate and believer in the power of community service to create sustainable change. She has an extensive background in the development and implementation of community outreach programs, and currently serves in several humanitarian non-profit organizations in her community to improve the lives of the visually impaired, and reduce prevalence of diabetes. In addition, she is a mentor of the youth awareness program, which empowers young people to be active members of the community and realize the power of action.

She holds a Master’s degree in advocacy/political management from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in legal studies from George Mason University.

From firsthand experience as a young widow and single mom of two, Aliona is dedicated to uplifting the lives of women, while empowering them to achieve strength, independence, and rebuild their lives after struggling due to domestic violence, lack of education, immigration status, and many other personal crises that women face.
